[dropcap]What[/dropcap] happened yesterday and where did it go? I mean, I know that it was Wednesday yesterday (here’s WW #35 to prove it), but for some reason, the date (the 5th) simply escaped my mind! Yesterday, I totally forgot to do my monthly padaek update (which is almost always normally done on the 5th of every month, for the past 10 months, as planned from the start [except for the couple of times when it was just not convenient for me to do so – but that’s a different story]).
OK, have a laugh, and I know just what you’re thinking – haha, he had such a wild Melbourne Cup day, and was recovering from the merriment yesterday, and lost some brain cells and totally yet understandably forgot about the padaek update yesterday. No-no, that was the not the case at all, for I barely drank on Melbourne Cup day (for the record, I only had one glass of wine) and was extremely/surprisingly well behaved and responsible for the whole day, for a change.
For some reason, the importance of the 5th being “padaek update day” just escaped my mind/memory. How bizarre! It’s most likely because there’s been so little change to the padaek lately that it’s become less exciting for me to post an update for it. Perhaps, the haiku had something to do with it? Anyhow, I still love you padaek and I’m sorry for forgetting about you yesterday. You see, old age and questionable memory are serious things that are also evidently starting to show their signs. [Shivers]
Anyhow – there’s no need to fret, because today is only 1 day later, and from the look of things, the padaek did very little change between yesterday and today, if any. In fact, as you can see in the photos below, it is still as stagnant as before. I have nothing to comment about or say really, except “It’s time to wake up Padaek!” Perhaps, next month we’ll see more action/change, seeing that the weather is clearly/awesomely warming up. Yippee! Let it go Northern Hemispherians – you just had your fare share of it! Here are the photos of today’s padaek update. Enjoy!
Note: #11 indicates the month of Movember! bigsmile In case you’re not aware, “The Movember Foundation challenges men to grow moustaches during Movember (formerly known as November), to spark conversation and raise vital funds for its men’s health programs.”((1)) Movember is a global movement/campaign, so please consider getting involved if you’re a man, or let the man/men in your life know about the foundation if you’e a woman. For more info, visit http://au.movember.com. I’m not a “Mo Bro” this year, but will still have private fun grooming/supporting my fine (above) upper lip facial hair growth.((2))
