A poem a day – Haiku – Black coffee

Black coffee

storm crosses dark lake
lightning strikes silver surface
wild beasts run like mad

Note: Here’s the first of this week’s instalment of daily haiku. Should have published it earlier today for you to enjoy, but anyhow here it is. Hope you like it. I’m not a huge coffee drinker, but when I do drink coffee, I do enjoy it black too. Have a great week ahead everyone!
