A poem a day – Haiku – Asparagus

A poem a day – Haiku – Asparagus

Asparagus

prehistoric land
dinosaurs feed in jungle
giants cast shadows

Note: Not too sure about this one. Is it a little too OTT abstract? If so, please just try and roll with it. This haiku was inspired by a recent viewing of Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs on TV. Yes, I know – I still love my animation too! Spoiler alert – the asparagus spears remind me a little of tall giant trees in a prehistoric jungle or long Apatosaurus/Brontosaurus’s necks. Sort of? Just a little, perhaps? Yes – no – maybe?
