I love your Wordless Wednesday! I jumped on as soon as I saw the email. I am not quite sure what I’m looking at but I love that you made me pause and absorb it :) Is it a faded painting? Is it a door? I see padlocks. I love that you make me question things like this!!

      Hi Nagi,

Thanks for your comment. And I’m glad you’re enjoying the WW at Padaek. Makes the effort/process worthwhile. I believe it’s a painted power supply box of some sort with a rather faded/old and intriguing painting on it. A parrot/budgie/rosella with a worm/dragonfly in its mouth/beak. Looks quite mysterious with its faded effect. Best wishes Nagi! :D

I love incidental art! Much better than a plain colour :D

      Hi Lorraine!

Thanks for your comment. Yes, I too love incidental/random art like this, especially public/mural artworks. Certainly makes a blank wall space/the neighbourhood more colourful/beautiful and entertaining/lively. And there’s quite a lot around. Just need to carefully look and observe. Best wishes on your long weekend! :D

This one makes me feel depressed for some reason. Amazing how art in all of its forms can trigger such responses.

      Hi Jem,

Thanks for your comment. Don’t feel depressed about this image, although I can see where you’re coming from. The old/faded paint does add a sense of age/ageing, wear and tear to the picture. And the unclear/faded outline/colours of the bird does create a rather spooky/ghostly effect to the image too. I do like the overall colours, shapes (especially of the leaves), and the subject matter of the image. Yes, art’s a very powerful medium and can be interpreted in many different ways. Best wishes! :D

This is such an interesting photo with some irony in it! Good catch Padaek!

Thank you Gourmet Getaways! Really appreciate your kind/supportive words on the blog, including the WWs. I really like the faded/pastel colours in this. And those dragonfly wings look like lips. :)
