A poem a day – Haiku – Mulberry

Note: Let’s start the week off with a light-hearted haiku. This is the first ripe mulberry from our potted tree. So proud of it, and the berry tasted sweeter than sugar. Can’t wait for more.

How beautiful – I love mulberries although I don’t think I’ve had them since uni – my family grew them as well and they’re gorgeous to eat straight off the tree.

Hi Emma, Thanks for your comment. I love them too and I also remember eating them off the tree at a friend’s backyard when we were young. Such a wonderful fruit and flavour. My current plant is only young but is about 2 meters already. Looking forward to cooking with it. :)
