Note: The chili pepper in the photo below is resting on my new chopping board which I bought at Aldi for $20. It’s made from Rubberwood and is a whopping 40cm x 40cm. I have a thing for wooden chopping boards and wanted to share this great find/buy with you. There’s also a circular shaped board (40cm diameter) for the same price. It’s not made from a whole piece of wood, but it still looks great (and will do the job just fine). I actually like the mixed/random/jigsaw grain markings on it quite a lot. Personally, I prefer wooden chopping boards compared to plastic ones. They just look and work better I think. This board is currently my new favourite board, and I’m afraid of using it. Perhaps, I’ll just use it as a background/backdrop board instead? Anyhow, if you have a thing for wooden chopping boards like I do and if there’s an Aldi nearby, be sure to check them out.
